ONTEORA 2003

The construction continues at the Long House. As of November 12th the concrete base had been poured. The tile had been laid, the walls were being finished and the stove hood had been installed. We expect to be able to have the new kitchen equipment delivered by January, 1, 2003. The kitchen will be fully operational by the time we open Summer Camp 2003.

ONTEORA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Over 80 people were in attendance for the first Onteora Alumni Association Weekend held September 27-29, 2002. A great weekend of fun and fellowship took place. As part of the Saturday program, a Patch/Memorabilia Auction took place which raised over $1,000.00. This money was then designated to bestow on Jim Kent an Onteora Alumni Association Millennium Society/James E. West Fellowship Award. Other Millennium Society/James E. West Fellows from the weekend were Robert Cancro, J. Chriss Canco, William Throop, and Joseph Laratondo. Since the weekend Robert Rooney, also became a Millennium Society/James E. West Fellow.

Special thanks for all their hard work on the weekend go to Eric Anderson, Rick Balla, Bill Cotter, Faun and Ken Guarino, Brian Issing, Andy Johns, Bob Sherman, Victor Varonier, and, of course, Dave Barkstedt. BULLY!
