	It's hard to believe that the Catholic Chapel once stood on this section of Sprague Brook.
	The Long Island Trading Post, with the newly restored totem pole in the foreground.
	The only sad part of the weekend was visiting Alder Lake. The former Coykendall mansion is in sad shape indeed.
	Staff members stand in front of the house as they discuss the condition and likely demolition of what was once a fine building.
	What a setting for a horror movie. What a shame.
	Alder Lake. Wouldn't you like to imagine yourself as Samuel Coykendall, sitting on your front porch with this as your view?
	The sun was finally out when we got back to Onteora.
