As long as I can remember I have been taking photos. Many of them are the typical family photos, first of my brothers and parents, and now of my own family. Along the way, though, I have been lucky enough to see some great places in the world, to meet some interesting people and to occasionally get something passable on film.
This section of the web site is a small look at some of the thousands of slides and negatives filling a large closet in my office. It will be updated on an irregular basis as time permits, with no set schedule, pattern or subjects. New subjects are added to the bottom of the list.
I've owned several different cameras over the years, but most of the film photos were taken with a Canon AE-1. The slides or negatives have been scanned on a Nikon Coolscan IV or V and color corrected to turn back the ravages of time. The digital photos were taken with a Nikon 900/995/5700, D70 or D90.
When I first put these pages online it was in the days of limited bandwidth and lower resolution monitors, so the pictures were sized accordingly. I'm going back and updating them as I rescan the pictures at a higher resolution, so some pages may look different from the others.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the photos. If you have any questions or comments about them please let me know.
