Steve Schull sent these photos of recent work on the long-awaited restoration of the Council House.

 Replacing the roof around the sky lights and valleys, and over the porches. At least 80% of the original roof is sound.

The wall between the kitchen and heater stack room has been removed.

There used to be two more ovens in the breezeway, which served as the bakery before the Central Commissary building was built.

Taking down the hood.

The hood was cut up and removed.
