Part 55 - 2001 Reunion Weekend

Thanks to Billy Graham for sending me these pictures he took back in 2001 at the first Alumni Reunion, held September 28-30, 2001.

Please send me an e-mail if you can help put names to any of the faces - just let me know the picture number, please! Please accept my apology if I misspelled your name or just plain forgot it.

001 - This retired caboose is just off Exit 96 of Rte. 17 at Livingston Manor. The flag was at half-mast due to the recent horror of 9/11.

002 - This well-worn sign is at the end of the exit ramp. It may have seen better days but it's a welcome indication that you're getting close to the Land in the Sky.

003 - Traveling up Grooville Rd. brings you to this artesian well. Water has been pouring out of the pipe as long as I can remember.

004 - With 9/11 still very much in everyone's thoughts it was wonderful to see the American flag waiting for us at the entrance to Onteora.

005 - The Administration Building was a welcome sight.

006 - Administration Building with Fall foliage.

007 - Many of the visitors stayed here in the Health Lodge.

008 - Orchard Lake and the old Parade Ground.

009 - Orchard Lake - always a welcome sight!

010 - The trees were starting to turn colors, and as we found at night, Summer was definitely over!

011 - Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful.
