That waters down our blood,

And keep our camp, both cold and damp,

THANK GOD I'M A STAFFMAN

Well life at Onteora is kinda laid back,
There ain't much an old staffman like me can't hack,
Early to rise, late in the sack,
Thank God I'm a staffman. This Onteora life always did me a lotta harm,
Raisin' me a paycheck that didn't go far,
My day's are all filled with a chaotic charm,
Thank God I'm a staffman.

Well I got me a contract,
And I got me a riddle,
Why did I sign it for so little,
Scouting must be a funny, funny riddle,
Thank God I'm a staffman.

When the sun settin' low,
I pull out a night out slip,
To see if I can go,
The scouts are asleep so I keep it kinda low,
Thank God I'm a staffman.

I was never much for following camp rules,
I was never one of those money hungry fools,
You can tell by using the camp tools,
Thank God I'm a staffman.

Stew taught us young how to cook on the griddle,
Taught us how to throw a big fiddle,
Onteora taught us how to love and give a little,
THANK GOD I'M A STAFFMAN!!!
